The Beat Mapper is a browser-based editor for creating Cock Hero beat maps. It runs entirely in your browser — no installation needed. You can access it directly from the Beat Mapper page.
Click Load Audio and select any audio file (.mp3, .wav, .ogg). The waveform will render in the main timeline. The editor supports files of any length.
Enter the BPM manually or click Detect BPM to auto-detect from the audio. The Trim field sets the offset in seconds before beat 1 — this aligns the BPM grid to your audio.
Double-click the section lane to add section markers (Intro, Verse, Chorus, etc.). Double-click the event lane to add events like media changes, dialogue triggers, and more.
Use Save JSON (Ctrl+S) to save the beat map file, or Export .zip (Ctrl+E) to bundle the beat map with the audio as a WAV file for sharing.
All shortcuts are shown in the keybind bar at the top of the editor. Press 1-5 to change snap resolution, +/- to zoom, and arrow keys to step through the timeline.
